DONKEYS THAT FERRYNG FIREWOODS OR CARRYING ANYTHING OUT OF THE FOREST WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM KFS IS ILLEGAL

MAU FOREST IMPROMPTU OPERATION BY KENYA FOREST SERVICE.
64 donkeys and owners were arrested on  29th Saturday of 2022 ferryng endangered cedar firewood.

Yesterday, Kenya Forest officers lead by Chief inspector in changed of Nakuru county David Rono with Mariashoni forester Alex Tobiko, assistant chief Area mr Kalengu,Scouts and Community together with Forest offenders 

The forest offenders agree to abide the law which was given  yesterday before to be forgiven and this was the Condition.

1. Donkey ferryng firewood or carryng anything out of the forest will be arrested and taken to court of Law effective from today.

2. Any person who will be carryng the firewood should get the receipt from the Kenya Forest offices, only exotic trees fall outs/anyone who will be caught carryng indigenous trees will be arrested and taken to court of justice.

3. Serious operations will be going on frequently in the forest.

4 Any office that will be gotten collecting money  from the Offenders.

The law will be applied on him Kenya forest services will take disciplinary action to that officers who will involved in those bull sheet business

THE GOVERNMENT USED IMPERSONATORS WHO PRETENDED TO BE THE COUNCIL OF ELDERS FROM THE OGIEK COMMUNITY TO MARK THE BOUNDARIES.

The exercise of marking the boundaries by the government in the East part of Mau has excluded the Ogiek Community. This shows that the right to access the information has been violated,  Some of the beacons were installed inside bamboo forests, and they didn't consider social and environmental impact assessment . The government used impersonators who pretended to be the council of elders from the Ogiek Community to mark the boundaries from the Sururu, Likia Mauche, Nessuit, and Mariashoni Bararget with aims  To settle peoples from Bomet, Transmara, Kericho, and Baringo. Mr. President today, when other Kenyas celebrate Jamhuri Day, remember that the Ogiek Community are suffering and also going through a lot of pain. This is after the state function, which took place at Mariashoni Kapsinendet one week ago.
