Ogiek Community is fully supporting Norma Routine Operation in Eastern and Western parts of mau lead by Mr David Mutoro and his team.

Following series of Operation and a arrest of forest Offenders by officers from londiani Lead by Mr David Mutoro,is Working closely with members of Ogiek Community who gives information of forest Offenders/ pedlers eg Choarcal burners , illegal loggers transporters,chopping of cinders post and transporting firewood illegally.

It's a team Work between Community scout and forest officers from Londiani therefore members of the Ogiek Community are very much Happy to CS ministry Of forest and the Chairman KFS Board for Accepting Mr Mutoro to Continue Commanding Operation in Eastern and Mau forest.

The Community also are Requesting the kenya forest Management to look into the act of shamba system and to Remove the act of shamba system because the shamba system farmers are the one who are destroying the forest by cutting indigenous trees to extend farming and illegal settlement in the forest.
