THESE WAS QUESTIONS TO THE PRESIDENT RELATED TO OGIEK MATTERS

The Ogiek Community, residing in Kiptunga in Nakuru County are being evicted from their ancestral land; the Eastern Mau bloc. This is despite securing victories in two legal battles in Kenya (2014) and the East Africa Court of Justice in Arusha, Tanzania (2017).

The situation prompts questions about the government's actions and adherence to constitutional and court mandates.

Why is your administration violating the rights of the indigenous Ogiek people?
Do you really have a genuine respect for the constitution and court rulings?

Additionally, concerns arise regarding promises you made during Senator Prengei's burial on August 28, 2021, specifically commitments to accommodate the Ogiek Community within your administration. Why hasn't this happened, more than an year into your Presidency?
